Hailing from a last-mile village in Mitooma district, providing for his family was challenging due to poor harvests and unstable income for Saverino. In early 2023, he joined training sessions on Good Agronomic Practices (GAP) conducted by RTV. Read his story.

For Angella's community, nestled in a remote village in the Rubirizi district, one change has been instrumental in improving their quality of life and addressing developmental barriers - safe access to clean water.

A farmer by trade, Beatrice once relied on traditional methods to cultivate coffee, groundnuts, millet, and maize. Eager to improve her farm yield and income, she participated in training sessions on modern farming practices by RTV in early 2023.

Inspired by RTV training sessions on cooperatives and financial literacy, thirty-two women formed a women's Village Savings and Loans Association (VSLA). With access to collective savings and affordable credit, they soon started multiple businesses to improve their incomes and build a better future for their families.

Edson and Annet lived in a rented house, finding it challenging to provide for their children. With unpredictable income and limited access to credit, each month was a race to pay rent and provide for their family. The weight of uncertainty loomed over them constantly.
