Harvesting for the family

Robinah from Kagadi District adopted improved farming practices, strengthened livestock care, and used VSLA credit to expand into grain trading. Today, stronger harvests, diversified income, and her role as Chairperson of the Joint VSLA have helped her build confidence, earn trust in her community, and invest in plans for a future trading store.

For Judith, access to savings and credit created a pathway to diversify her income. Through her Youth VSLA, she started a retail shop, strengthening her household income and building toward bigger ambitions.
